About Us
Robert Lowe III, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in spinal issues, with a particular interest in scoliosis and spinal deformity. He offers cutting-edge treatments at his private practice, with locations in Nashville, Springhill, and Cookeville, Tennessee. Dr. Lowe is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Lowe attended undergrad at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. He then obtained a Doctor of Medicine from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee.
After his formal training, Dr. Lowe pursued his residency in orthopaedic surgery and his internship in general surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was then accepted into an orthopedic spine fellowship in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.
At his practice, he offers a variety of treatments for back pain, neck pain, herniated discs, scoliosis, and spinal stenosis. If conventional interventions fail to relieve your pain, Dr. Lowe can perform robotic surgery and spine surgery.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Lowe participates in sports, such as golf, rock climbing, hiking, and waterskiing. In addition, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, going to the symphony, and attending church.
